West Chicago Park District Toucha Truck

Saturday, June 5th 2010 from 9AM until 11AM - Winfield Township Road District participates in West Chicago Park District's Annual Event, Toucha Truck, with one of our trucks as well as giveaways.  This is a wonderful program designed to allow children and families an up close look at a Fire Truck, Police Car, Dump Truck, as well as other trucks that work within the community.  The West Chicago Police, Fire and Park District work together to provide this educational experience for the whole family, and Winfield Township is honored to be part of it.  All ages are welcome and the event is free.

Location:  Turtle Splach Water Park parking long at Reed Keppler Park, 129 W. National Street.

Electronic Order of Protection System

The Winfield Township Office is now a public access point for DuPage County's new electronic Order of Protection (OOP) system. This system allows citizens seeking an Order of Protection to get basic information about the OOP and begin their petition online, saving time when they visit the courthouse to complete the process. To use the electronic Order of Protection system, visit the township office or go to www.GetAProtectionOrder.org from any safe computer.

Meetings

The Board of Trustees meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the township office, except in November (third Monday).

The Annual Town Meeting is held on the second Tuesday in April at 7:00 p.m. at West Chicago City Hall. 475 Main Street, West Chicago, IL.
