Winfield Township Trustees

Winfield Township has four trusties whom comprise the legislative branch of the township. With the supervisor, they have voting rights over establishing township policies outside the jurisdiction of the assessor and highway commissioner.

Fred A. Dusza

Fred is a 30 year resident of Winfield Township and is an Air Force Veteran. He and his wife, Maryann, have two sons and a daughter. Fred is very active in the village of Winfield where he served seven years on School District Board #34, two years as a Village Trustee, and four years as Chairman and Commissioner of the Winfield Fire District. Besides being a Winfield Township Trustee since 2001, he is currently the Treasurer for the West Chicago Mosquito Abatement District.

Francis J. Kammes

Fran has lived in Winfield Township most of his life. He and his wife, Lynne, live in Winfield and have two daughters. He is a state certified real estate appraiser. Fran also held a position on the DuPage County Board of Tax Review where he helped make decisions on real estate assessments. Fran has been a Winfield Township Trustee since 1989.

Gerald E. Ruzicka

Jerry is a life-long Winfield Township resident. He and his wife, Cynthia, raised three daughters. Jerry served with the U.S. Air Force. Upon his discharge, Jerry began a long successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. He has been active in a variety of local groups, serving 13 years as a Warrenville girls' softball coach. Jerry has been a Winfield Township Trustee since 1993.

John J. (Bud) Schramer

Bud is a life-long resident of West Chicago, he represents our senior population well. He has been married to Elsie for over 66 years, and they have two daughters. Bud served with distinction as an Army battalion engineer in World War II. He owned Bud�s Market for 20 years. Bud has serviced as a Winfield Township Trustee since 1998, and prior to that served the Township as a Deputy Assessor for 20 years.
